A crucial part to college football recruiting is getting the best in state talent. Some schools have mastered this practice, like Texas, Ohio State, etc. For other schools, they see their in state talent travel out of state to play football, and it cripples their recruiting morale.
University of Missouri Kansas City wants to change their name to University of Kansas City. It is long overdue and hopefully they get it done. Friends that attended the university always said that this was a problem in attracting more students and solidifying it as more then just a commuter college.
