What’s the dealeo with Cassel? Winston, Boss, Hillis, and Quinn are all gone.com and Tyson’s contract has been restructured. Is Cassel working with the Chiefs to restructure his contract so he can be the backup? If not, Cassel should be gone any day now, maybe this weekend. Hurry the fuck up Chiefs! According to Brandon Albert’s tweets the KC Chiefs fans will be disappointed today if you know what he means??? I take it Dwayne Bowe will get the franchise tag and Albert will be released. Sucks Chiefs can’t get a deal done with either dude. I’d bet neither one of these guys will make more money in free agency then what the Chiefs are offering. Pioli tried to pay Bowe as a top 10 WR, but Bowe’s agent says he needs to be paid as a top 5 WR. If neither one of these guys want to meet the Chiefs front office in the middle to make a deal then screw them. If their agents can’t get it done with 2 different Chiefs front offices then its the player/agents problem not the Chiefs problem. Good riddance to whoever doesn’t get tagged even though I’d like to see both of them in CHIEFS RED.

Reid and Dorsey Honeymoon Is Over
Alex Smith will be a Chief! But the price was a high one. Reports coming out are the Chiefs are giving up the second round draft pick plus another pick next year to the 49ers. This is going to upset a lot of fans because most folks (me included) thought a 3rd or 4th was doable for Smith. This means Reid and Dorsey believe Smith is their man until they find a new QB to draft and to develop underneath Smith. The Chiefs should consider restructuring Cassel’s contract to have a solid backup and then go get the 3rd stringer in the draft. Either way this is the first major move by this regime and now the fans will stick their flag in the ground of whether they think it was a good or bad move. What camp is everyone in? Was this good or bad?
Percy’s Trade Party
Well word broke yesterday that Minnesota Vikings are shopping Percy Harvin for a second round maybe a third round draft pick. The Kansas City Chiefs have to sign Bowe, they have Baldwin, McCluster and other wide receivers that have only showed flashes of goodness. If you can keep Percy from being a cancer in the locker room which I think Reid can then Percy would be a huge upgrade. If Reid likes Percy and Dorsey can cut a deal then go for it. What does everyone else think?

Jayhawks Win 2013 Signing Day
High school football recruits signed their lives, I mean their names to contracts today. The reports coming in for KC area colleges say KU got the best recruiting class, followed by Kstate, and Mizzou rounding out the bottom. The biggest headline from this 2013 recruiting class is how the top dogs of the Big XII have fallen hard. Early predictions have Texas and Oklahoma in the upper teens and lower twenty rankings. Texas A&M seems to have leaped frog Texas with its new SEC power. Even Ole Miss has used its SEC power to get itself in a top 5 ranking. If this is all true then Big XII’s football is falling off the map when it compares itself to the SEC. SEC is only getting more powerful and the Big XII is getting more pathetic when it comes to football…

Can’t blame Wes Welker’s wife for telling it like it is. Ann Welker wrote on her facebook page to check out Ray Lewis’s wikipedia page. Her snippy comment was about Ray having too many kids with different women and being accused of murder. Ann Welker has already apologized for her comments but apologize for what. Sorry babe, but that is par for the course in the NFL and I’m sure Rayray has no qualms with it. To bad we all don’t live in a porn movie because we can all imagine how this scenario would play out…Maybe Bill Maplewood can write a screenplay for us some day.

KSU Wins, KU wins, and Mizzou gets their dicks rung. Who will win the KU and KState basketball game this week? KU got killed in football so they’ll want revenge KU wins. Mizzou plays Frank Martin’s South Carolina team. He usually has Mizzou’s number but not this year. Mizou rebounds and wins.

You totally screwed us buttwads! Chiefs let go of Pollard “The Bone Crusher” because Coach Todd didn’t like him. Well Pollard had the game changing bone crushing hit of the day that caused a turnover and sealed the win for the Ravens. The Chiefs could have had Joe Flacco with our #5 pick in 2008 but no you chose Dorsey. Flacco is now headed to the Super Bowl and Dorsey probably won’t be on our team next year. The Chiefs might have a second chance at Flacco if he gets the franchise tag from the Ravens. The Chiefs could give up 2 first round picks to steal Flacco if franchised…hhhmmmm….
