BIG Homestand – Royal’s Goals

Huge win yesterday against Verlander and the Tigers!  Although we didn’t technically slay the giant we still got the win while he was on the hill.  Now it’s time to get off to a nice start during this 7 game homestand against the two AL East giants (New York and Boston).  Following is a list of the Royals goals during this homestand along with some wishful thinking of what could have been if we didn’t start the year 0-10 at home. D-Troit Rock City

Let’s hope it’s the Royals bat’s providing the pyrotechnics as we begin this three game set in Detroit.  Tonight we will see a guy named Below making his third professional start for Detroit.  He has pitched very well out of the bullpen thus far but that’s a bit different then taking the mound in the first inning.  The Royals will counter with Hochevar after he swapped spots in the rotation with Sanchez as Jonathan is dealing with the flu bug.  Read more
