Norm Roberts Returns to KU

Bill Self quickly “replaced” the departed Danny Manning with former Jayhawk Assistant Norm Roberts coming back for a second stint in Lawrence.

Roberts will now be reunited with Self as well as his son Niko, a walk-on for Kansas.

Roberts will provide Kansas with another East Coast recruiter…having lured fan favorite Russell Robinson from “NEW YORK, NEW YORK” in his last season with the Jayhawks in 2003-2004.

Roberts left Kansas to take the head coaching job at St John’s. After being let go at St John’s, Roberts spent a season on Billy Donavan’s staff at Florida.

Welcome back Norm (not Norm Stewart).

KU is basketball 365 days a year…Is Charlie W. the savior who will could change that so football is relevant again?

Unlike Mizzou fans who less than 30 seconds after the Norfolk game we talking about the upcoming SEC football schedule. You watch what happens at KU under Charlie W…. My prediction is that about 5 years from now, the rivalry with Mizzou will be rekindled and the Hawks will be putting an ass whooping on the Tigers, who will have since been asked to leave the SEC and will be mid tier in the Mizzery Valley….

This is very good for KU. Roberts is one of the most well known recruiters on the East coast. This move gives KU another salesman on the staff.
