Royals are now about 10 games below .500, about 10 games back in the AL Central divsion, they just got swept by their 20 year loser competitor the Pirates, the offense sucks right now, pitching has been alright, the defense hasn’t been great lately, and people are wanting to call up minor league dudes to save the day.
Yep its official I am jumping from this Royals ship and am I’m taking the Boulevard Pale Ale and women with me. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll never jump the KCMothership even when we are down in and out. But when it comes to the Royals being competitive in baseball standings and they stop being competitive in the standings and suck then sorry the Cheeeeeeeeeeese has left the building. I will keep watching games when I can and talk about them here and there, but counting the minutes to Royals first pitch for ever game due to excitement of them competing is over!
I’m assuming CurlyMullet has even given up on him since we haven’t heard from him in a long time. He might be too butthurt by the Royals right now to write his articles. Hopefully he hasn’t gauged his eyes out with a spoon after watching the Royals last weekend. (I’m optimist Chiefs fan and you will never get me to jump ship, ask anyone about last year except for 1st quarter of Colts game)
Who’s going to hang on to this Royals sinking ship and who is jumping? ZackAttack is in town with the Brewers tonight and I think Zack is going to get his laugh at the Royals expense tonight. Does anyone think Zack will implode and Royals will get their Stella Grove back to make another run? What are the feelings out there?
Holy Shniiiikeeees…Royals won last night against Brewers, I just found out. Im such a fair weather fan, I said fuck em with 1 out in the bottom of the ninth last night. In my defense my wife was in the room and she didn’t want to watch the Royals
made it through the game w/o ruining any relationships with underwriters or company representatives/clients.
I did however manage to easily be the most animated person among the crowded 30 odd people in the dugout suite. It was one of the most boring atmospheres ever witnessed.
Managed to see Luis Mendoza out duel Zach Grienke. Please read that sentence again b/c it’s possible it will never be seen in type again in the history of the world.

I’d say I’m jumping too but I’ve been a Royals fan forever and it’s never been different (not counting the 1985 World Series because I was 2 and don’t remember shit). Every summer is like this. Can’t wait until 2014 when we can…yawn…compete.

I apologize for the hiatus. Been trying to get the house ready to possibly go on the market. Powerwashed and Restained Deck, powerwashed entire house, went through 2 cubic yards of mulch (I have a big yard), chipped out broken tile/old thinset, retiled and regrouted kitchen floor, painted areas, cleaned garage, cleaned house, etc. etc. Been a busy couple weeks.
Anyways…..you probably all read that and said “what the fuck is this guy talking about”. Well…….my point to the above is to make an analogy on the Royals.
Right now we are like an old house that needs a lot of work. But if you put the time and effort in you can whip that house into shape and turn it into a winner. We’re in a funk right now but I think by the end of June we will right the ship and be back on track. Keep the faith cheeeesee, always keep the faith.
