The Simple Joy’s of being a Royals Fan

Here are some things I’ve loved seeing thus far during the season, often multiple times:

-Sitting in my seat at the stadium or turning the TV on and seeing us down by multiple runs (4, 5, 6, 7, etc) in the first inning.

-Watching the bullpen get loose during the second inning.

-Seeing Sanchez and Hochevar combine to be one of the worst pitching duos currently in the majors.

-Watching pitchers consistently give up runs after the Royals worked to score runs in their half of the inning.

-Walks, walks and more walks.  It’s crazy we’ve given up the least amount of HR’s in the AL.  Once the weather warms up and the humidity pushes in, watch out!  It will be a homerun derby every game when the opposition goes up against the Royals.

-Dyson leading off, Pena/Quintero behind the plate, Cain on the DL, Perez on the DL, Soria gone for the season.

These are wonderful things that just make me itch to buy my next ticket or turn on the tube for a game during the weeknight.  Keep it up Boys!

PS:  I do think we are going to comeback tonight and pull out the victory.  Sanchez needs to be on the bench when the bottom of the third starts in order for this to happen.

  1. Cheeeeeeeeeese says:

Yeah that Road to Nowhere is happening much more then the road to somewhere. Sad part is it doesn’t feel like the pitching staff is being competitive enough. I know its baseball but seeing some fire from these guys would at least show they care and are trying…

  2. When kccm has this little positivity, we are surely foooooked
