Fuck It Dude, Lets Go Bowling…

Walter Big Lebowski

I don’t know about you but I hit rock bottom with the Chiefs against the Bucs and the loss to the Raiders was just a cherry on top. So this loss to the Chargers last night really is nothing, but another token for the KC talking heads to play their “Bitch about Clark/Pioli/Romeo/Cassel pinball machine”…

Lets face the facts, when this team was assembled, majority of Murica thought this was a solid team that should make a run at the AFC West, most predicted the Chiefs would win it. It has been nothing, but a down whirl spiral ever since those predictions. The atomic bomb has been dropped on this fucking Chiefs organization and it is time to move on. I have by doing other shit with my time and hope you all can do the same.

To do this, you must stop bitching about Clark. The owner is not going to change nor is he going to turn into Jerry Jones or SportingKC ownership over night so stop whining over what you can not change. Second, it will cost mega bucks to get rid of Pioli. I think Pioli should lose his job over this season, but I don’t think cheap Clark will eat the cash to do it since people are saying it will cost 30 plus million dollars to have a changing of the guard. Clark is sp cheap right now, I do not see him eating that under any circumstances. So everyone do like I did and shove your tampon in and realize Pioli might be staying. Just start hoping Pioli can change his ways to get a top notch coach into Arrowhead to make it work.

The man who can easily go that I love is Grandpa Romeo. Romeo, sorry but you failed by epic portions and unfortunately should be the one who falls on this grenade such as Seitzer did for the Royals this year. Romeo should be fired this week and if Jim Zorn is around he should be the interim coach. During that time all Chiefs fans might see some optimism at the end of the tunnel and can than start talking about a new coach, free agents, Geno Smith, Barkley, Jenkins, Tao, Alabama Olineman, and others.

It is all over and it is time to realize that things are going to get easier, things are going to get brighter. Lets start talking about rebuilding and not bitching about how bad this fucking team was this season.

I have to say, as a non-KC native who is a fan of the chiefs, but is a bigger fan of my original hometown team, this chiefs season has made me really sad. Having lived in other large cities with popular football teams in their respective regions, I’ve never seen more dedicated fans that I have in KC. In those cities, you would watch the game on tv, and maybe actually go to 1 or 2 games. There were season ticket holders, but not nearly as many as I have met here, and definitely none that I knew that were in their 20s. Everyone we knew was at the home games.
They may only be my third season as a chiefs fan, but this season I have seen a noticable major shift in the attitude towards the chiefs. These last 2 years, even though, honestly, they haven’t been great, everyone was still excited for the games and was going every week. This year, it seems that everyone has either given up their season tickets, or has tried to find others to take them. To be completely honest, it really does make me sad. The chiefs fan culture really is an amazing culture, and it is sad to see it waning.

Who in the fuck predicted the Chiefs to win the AFC West? Somebody over at Bogeys? You can’t compete without ever drafting a QB in the first round or two. Problem number one is the person in charge of player personnel. That guy, whomever he is, blows. Not sure if it has been the same person the past 30 years, but he/she blows. Next, with the exception of Vermeil, you haven’t had a coach worth a shit since I have been alive. Marty was decent but never made to a super bowl in his 107 year career. Lastly, why should the owners care? It’s like the Rockies, people around there have supported a Loser (yes i capitalized it) for the past 35 years so why dish out the dough. The Rockies continue to sell out with piss poor product. If you could make a Yugo and sell it like it was a Mercedes, why would you fuck with the model. Until you, the fans, stop buying the bullshit and put your feet down, nothing will change. Spit out the Koolaid, there is a turd floating in the punch bowl. Same Turd, different year. Sorry about your reality

Love from the Mile High City

Is Jim Zorn still on the coaching staff?

I still blame Clark…only thing that brings change by the owner is the KC fans not giving him their money for a shitty, embarrassing product

I moved on along time ago. While I agree with you Cheeese on how we need to stop bitching, the most dissapointing thing still exists that no one is talking about. That is: this franchise is soooo far away from competing. I disagree that things will get easier or brighter. You just can’t go from rock bottom of the league to “decent” the next year.

Although it will be exciting to have yet another new head coach and likely top 3 draft pick, we really don’t know what we have to look forward to. When training camp fires up next summer what the fuck are we supposed to get pumped about? Clark Hunt has trusted the wrong people to run his organization and he needs to acknowledge that. Sure his business is making bucks, but the team and fanbase is more broken than the days before any of us were alive. What asshole of an owner gives a general manager THREE head coaches in four years? That is fucking unheard of in pro sports. We’ve all seen the stats. The Chiefs are setting league records for piss poorness. I personally will just have a hard time getting excited about this team in the future until results actually take place on the field, rather than what takes place on paper (roster & coaching staff).
