Smith, the game manager, defeats the elite QB Brees. This gives hope to Chiefs that they can win a game in the playoffs with Matt Cassel. If our defense improves to a top defense and Cassel can manage a game then we can be a playoff team that wins such as Alex Smith did.
Aaron Rodgers went down too. The other great elite QB went down to another game manager Eli Manning (no analyst had Eli in the elite QB status this year they had Phillip Rivers so he’s a game manager, now people say Eli is elite). This leaves 3 game managers Eli, Smith, Flaco, and the only elite left is Brady. Heads are going to be explode if Brady were to lose to Ravens. This year KC Sports DJs and Chiefs fans cry for “Suck for Luck” and to trade the whole draft away for a possible elite QB. Well, those cries were shattered with the two best elite QBs going win less 1-2 in the playoffs.

I don’t believe Smith is anywhere near Drew Brees right now, but I also wouldn’t classify Smith as a ‘game manager’. Smith has all of the tools to be a great/elite NFL QB. I believe he took a huge step on Saturday vs the Saints. Smith although has had a shaky start to his career, is definitely not just a ‘game manager’.
Cassel is terrible. I would rather have Alex Smith, Flacco or definietly Manning as QB of the Chiefs. Manning is in no way a “game manager”. He was one of the top QB’s in the NFL this year and he would wing the ball all over the place. He had no running game and has still led his team to the NFC Championship. This does not give me any hope whatsoever that Cassel could win a playoff game. He had a chance last year and got SMOKED (at home). Our best chance of winning a playoff game is Cassel falling off a cliff and our back-up (TBD) coming in to lead the Chiefs.
PS: Who is “Erin Rogers”? Is that a porn star or something?
One more thing….Brees was not winless in the playoff’s this year.
I agree with yalls stuff except Cassel can win a playoff game. Also my game manager or elite QB stuff is all based on media talk now what I believe…Yes Erin Rogers got fuked up by me and the rest of Arrowhead…She’s the best I’ve had
I concur with your QB assessment but my judgements were on what media pundits thought majority of the year. Basically Smith couldn’t hold Brees dick…well Smith proved he can
