It was rather exciting day at Chiefs Camp in Mombo, Botswana. Two elephants roared into our camp while we were watching the sunrise during our Eggs Benedict breakfast. It was breath taking!

Aaahhh, sorry I forgot to add training to Chiefs camp when googling it. If you don’t use training, you end up in an African Chiefs camp. If anyone has the means to fly to Africa, Chiefs camp looks to be a great place to check out.
Chiefs Training Camp has been going well ever since Coach Todd has left the Arrowhead community. All the players seem to be busting their asses. Coaches seem to be getting along. Everyone loves Romeooooo and Brian Daboll seems to be impressing everyone with his knowledge of football. All players seem to be happy with the play calls and touches they have been getting from Daboll. Good to see things going smoothly. I don’t think Chiefs fans have seen a smooth camp since the Vermeil/Saunders/Gunther days.
SIDENOTES:
-Kyle McCarthy, a backup safety from Shmnver, was place on injured reserve after a season ending injury.
-Bowe hasn’t reported to camp
-A backup older linebacker (forgot his name) retired from Chiefs due to family issues. Chiefs signed him right before camp and he was only around a couple days.
-Bowe hasn’t reported to camp
-Berry, Moeaki, and Charles all look and feel good.
-New tight end, Boss, looks good, likes the offensive style.
-Cassel and Baldwin both look great.
-Chiefs signed LB Edgar Jones to get an extra backup for that position.

-McCluster is playing more slot and looks good in training camp as always. I hope Daboll can translate McCluster’s play to relive games by using his tools right. Radio guys are freaking out because they don’t know the exact position McCluster will be playing and his 2nd round draft status could be a waste even though McCluster carried the Palko shitbus last year after Charles/Cassel went down.
-Dontari Poe is learning and seems to be doing well. Radio guys are losing their shit because Poe might not be Seymor out of the gates. This is why they signed Gordon so these guys can split the field time until Poe becomes a beast.
-Rest of the defense seems to be looking good and working hard. Nothing really to report yet.
-NEWS ALERT!!! Chiefs have backups but they don’t have Pro Bowl backups. So if DJ, Flowers, Hali, Charles, or Hillis go down they won’t be replaced by All Pro players. This is a huge concern that every fuckin radio guy keeps pointing out. Chiefs finally fill every position on the field with a good-excellent player and the radio guys found the next thing to bitch about- backups. NEWS FUCKIN FLASH! No team in the NFL has 2 quality starters or backups in every position. The only team that comes close to that is the Super Bowl Champions Giants. Pioli is trying to address that with guys like Sheffield, Siler, Arenas, Brown, Quinn, plus a number of Oline draft picks this year, etc. Yes these are backups not starters so when a starter goes down the backup won’t be as good as the starter. Who would have ever thought?!?!
-Bowe hasn’t reported to camp and his dumb ass agent needs to be fired especially if Bowe misses game 1. Daboll will make this offense work with or without Bowe.
How much of a blow will it be to this team if their best WR misses all of camp/preseason and possibly even some real games?
We need all the weapons in our arsenal so D-Bowe needs to get his shit together and sign his tender.
