MIZHIEFSSS FOOTBALL PARTAH WEEKEND

Mizzou Tigers finally released their game time for their first SEC game against Georgia Bulldogs…

The MU/GA game will take place on Saturday night September 8, at 6:45pm on ESPN 2.

Not going to lie, I’m a little shocked this game wasn’t at 2-3pm on CBS with this game being Mizzou’s first SEC game and Georgia being a national power house.  Either way this game time works great for celebrating all day, soaking up this special Mizzou moment of joining the SEC, and for being smooshed by kickoff.

Chiefs NFL home opener is against the Atlanta Falcons and their kickoff is on September 9th at noon.  This means Chiefs and Mizzou fans will be celebrating 2 football games within 13-14 hours of each other if you go by the end time of the Mizzou/GA game, Whoaaa!!!

Here’s how it breaks down.  That means a person going to Mizzou from KC for the MU/GA game will be leaving probably no later then Nooner- 1pmish.  The fans will land in Columbia around 2-3pmish for killer “lets get naked” tailgating parties.  Then its the epic MU/GA game that tell us everything about both teams including, which team will take the lead in the SEC East. This game will end between 10pm-11pm.

If you are then hitting up the Chiefs/Falcons “Return of Tony G” game at noon and plan to tailgate at the usual 8-9am Arrowhead Bloody Mary hours, then that leaves you less then 10 hours to get back to KC, get some drunk sleep, get your shit together in the morning, and then be at Camerohead parking lot yelling Chieeeffffsssss!!!

Hope people are ready for the city of Hotlanta and Bulldogs Nation to invade the KC and Missourah areas because this is an epic football weekend Mizzou/GA/Falcons/Chiefs fans will not want to miss!  Bonerup and start planning now!

MIZ/Chiefsssss fans what did I miss?

CBS doenst cover the first two weeks of the season because of the U.S. Open. Otherwise Im sure it pick this game. However, i much prefer the night games 1) its a lot cooler 2) i think it gives the home field team a couple more points advnatge because of the atmosphere.

AAAAhhhh…damn bshlgt you are the man when it comes to the SEC!

I’m with ya dude, beer stays colder and the fans get drunker! Its a win/win on with early season night games. It will make for a bruiser the next morning but its time to buck up and play with the big boys.

I think Sam Mellinger summed it up best about Mizzou’s night game

“SEC opener at home against Georgia. Columbia will be the most jacked (and perhaps most drunk) place in the country at 6:45 p.m. on Sept. 8. That means 51 days until we get our first hint of how Mizzou’s SEC experiment will go.”

The only Falcons fans at the game will be those that live in KC and stumbled upon free tickets. They suck as fans.
