I can barely open my eyes to do this little writeup due to lack of sleep but here comes the headlines from the weekend.
Royals
-They suck right now. Lost the series to Twinkiees. Guthrie pitched better than Sanchez but he sucked. Yost and Escobar were booted from the game on Sunday. Hochevar gives up 1 run and the Royals give him no run support. Just fuckin terrible, so if we do get good pitching our bats won’t support it…good to know
Chiefs
-According to the KC Star the (W&C, that’s for you but don’t get use to it) Chiefs are really young. One of the youngest teams in the NFL with only a few people in their 30s. Patriots and Ravens are really old. Don’t know if this is good or bad. Chiefs report Thursday for camp! I just grew 3 inches!
SportingKC
-They had a draw this weekend and that dropped them to 2nd place. SportingKC is still the jewel of KC right now by staying in contention. Keep kicking ass Sporting!
MIZZOU/KU/KSTATE
-Mizzou lost an assistant basketball coach under Frank Haith. The guy went to Auburn for more money, it didn’t seem to be a big deal. Don’t know much about KU and Kstate this weekend, if anyone knows any news post it in comments.
GOLF
-Tiger blew it. Way to go Els on winning the British Open! Bear and Schools pay up beeeattcchhhsss…
KC Area
-The iconic Kansas City Power and Light building (KC’s Mini-Empire State Building) was sold to a developer and will be transformed into apartments/condos. Pretty badass!
