Follow up on this story is Ewing Kauffman did the same thing Hunt and Glass are doing. I guess this is what a small market has to do to keep Big League teams. Which is give them tax money so they can pay their phone bills, taxes, and anything they want to spend the money on and not just repairs. Sucks for us and is more of a reason why we route for these teams. Our hard earned tax dollars we pay go to the teams so we are money invested in them.
Why does David Glass keep stomping on my Royals heart?
I can take Clark Hunt and the Chiefs raping my taxass because they usually put a playoff team on the field every 3 years or have a team that competes just about every year. But David Glass is not getting a pass to tax my shit. The guy does not spend money when it counts and won’t show his face in KC or even at his own All-Star game. He is a FUCKINHORRIBLE owner that is ruining our beloved Royals.
What fucking chiefs team have you been watching, cheeeeeeese? I’ve seen one team in about the last 7 years barely scrape into the playoffs and get stomped by baltimore. Whats with the red tinted m-frames?
Due to my age I have only been able to watch and remember the Chiefs since 1990. That’s 21 seasons and Chiefs have been to the playoffs 10 times. That means Chiefs on average make the playoffs 1 out of every 2 years. Win the AFC West 1 out of every 4 years. Make it to the second round of the playoffs 1 out of every 5 years. Thanks for playing West. Are you sure that altitude didn’t fuck with your vision to where you see Donkey orange now?
Dont play the fucking averages game with this one. I too remember when the yiefs made the playoffs every year. What i have witnessed in the last ten years has been a fucking disgrace. Yeah, we may have squeaked into the playoffs a couple times, but once we got there, we have been so far from competitive it’s pathetic.
I am by no means a donkey suck fan now, and while in denver i think my hatred for all things bronco grew exponentially. At the same time, i’m not going to pretend i’m happy with where thechiefs are because we madd the playoffs every year between 1991 and 1997
I think the problem with this town is that our expectations have been beaten into submission and now simply making the playoffs means we had a successful season. I say bullshit. This team hasn’t even been to a super bowl since 1969 and made the playoffs only 12 times in 40 nfl seasons. Not exactly a sterling record.
Cheeese is it possible that you’ve lived in kc too long and are afraid to stir the pot with your beloved chiefs? Just because you love the chiefs doesn’t mean objectivity needs to be thrown out the window.
Anyways, as of yesterday, i am again a kc resident after 4 years in enemy territory. I am thinking i will need a handle change to something more apropo as well. Maybe i’ll sell it my naming rights. “Used Tire City-Shipper” has a certain ring to it.

Your response is mind bottling. We have been to the playoffs 3 times in the last 14 seasons, which consists your entire ADULT life. I know going to the playoffs when you were 11 years old was badass, but you shouldn’t let it cloud your view of the current state of the team.
