-A big stink going around is Mizzou’s fans were too nice for their SEC opener.  What a load of crap! The MIZ fans were cool with Georgia people I saw it first hand and it made for a great atmosphere.  I’ve been around many stadiums and the fans that are dicks are the ones that I never want to go back too. Yeah you don’t want to suck opposing fans dicks and you do want to talk trash to opposing teams.  But you don’t want to start throwing shit, pushing or fighting people like I’ve seen at University of Pittsburgh, PA.

I Went to Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Pitt back in the day and was with Pitt buddies.  They took me around campus and tailgates where I was almost beat the shit out of numerous times for just chilling and not talking trash at all.  Screw those frosted tip, ear-ring wearing dooshes.  Another incident I could have done without is in Shmenver Donkeys game when people were throwing things from behind while sitting and watching the game.  We were not over cheering at all during that game.  There is no need for this any of the physical crap.

A stadium I recently hit up and would go back to any day was Texas A&M-College Station.  The fans were generous as hell, but would talk smack with ya.  Mizzou whooped the shit out of them and after the game we tailgated with the Aggies for hours on end.  It was nothing but good times.  That was a big shocker because I remembered Aggies fans as a kid from a Cotton Bowl being total die hard fans that were dickish so it was cool to be proven wrong.

MU and KU the oldest rivalry west of the Mississippi has more hatred towards one another then almost anywhere else in the country.  Does anyone remember Armageddon the biggest football game in either school’s history?  Well yes Mizzou won, but there were not fights breaking out everywhere and the fans respected one another.  The shit talking between MU and KU could not have been any heavier but everyone ate, cheered, jeered, and boozed together with without brawling.

On the other hand there times when a fan needs to be put in his place when they are classeless dicks.  Two examples from the Chiefs games last year were a a 40 year old Vikings fan standing on his seat and blocking a boys view of the game.  In the man’s defense a Chiefs fan’s sign was in his way.  But when asked to stand off his seat so a 8 year old kid could see the game, the Vikes fan said “sorry I paid for my ticket too and I have to see”.  Fortunately the entire Chiefs section heard and saw this so the Chiefs fans booed and yelled at the guy until he sat down.

2nd time was last season against the Shmenver Broncos.  Some 20 year old white trash cracked teeth fan was yelling at everyone around him non stop for the entire 1st half.  He was literally ruining the game for everyone around him.  Many people had yelled at him to shut up.  Then Donkeys had a big play and the kid bumped me (don’t know if it was on purpose or not).  At that point, I had enough and turned around pushed the kid and yelled for him not to touch me again and to watch the game and shut the fuck up.  I thought I was over the top until 2 rows of Chiefs fans applauded me.  At that point I knew I was right in teaching that kid some damn manners.  The kid was respectful to everyone around him the rest of the game.

Overall all incidents need to be evauated and handled in their own circumstances but overall there is no need for the media/blogs to promote college/NFL teams fans to be complete dicks to each other so there are brawls.

-Even though one of the coolest things I ever saw was watching Colts fans run out of Club Level (yeah club level) at Arrowhead due to being jumped by Chiefs in 1995 after Lin Elliot missed 3 field goals.
