Cano Booed To A Goose Egg

Way to go KC!  That was a thing of beauty giving Cano the old Kansas City Shuffle in the HR derby!  Justice is served!

Congrats to Prince Fielder!

-ESPN, NY fans, East Coast, and National Media can suck it!  I’ve never seen people so butthurt over a player (Yankee) being booed on a national stage.  They say KC was classless but that is total crap.  People paid good money to party, cheer, and celebrate a National event and they shouldn’t have to golf clap the entire event.  Cano made himself the villain for this event and the crowd played off of it.

-Its simple, ESPN/National media can’t side with KC Royals (2 million person city) over NY Yankees (20 million person city).  That is on a city level and on a national level it is much worse.  If the media did side with KC then they would piss off their entire audience and put their jobs in jeopardy.  This is why they are hypocrite sellout hacks.

-KC did not assault or throw anything at Cano, we booed his at bats, celebrated his outs, and cheered for Billy Butler!  If you have a problem with that then take your bubbleboy ass somewhere else!

-Yeah Royals haven’t won in 25 years and KC doesn’t have much to cheer about, but when there is something to cheer about you’ll hear us you pretentious, fartsniffing Yankee/Cano/National Media fans.

-All the national media (Wall Street Journal, ESPN, CBS, etc) can say is Billy only has 16 HR and none of them bring up that Prince Fielder only has 15 HR (13 HR when Prince was chosen by Cano).

-It is hilarious reading all the blogs and twitter hearing the Yankees fans literally cry…let me lick your tears please.

-The ESPN announcers (Berman) were dumbfounded and didn’t know what to say when the crowd was booing Cano and cheering Billy Butler. The couldn’t believe we were doing this to Cano.  Kruk was the only one who could play with it a little bit by saying this fueled Cano’s fire, all others were stunned in silence.  It was beeeeaaauuuuutifulllllll!

-Kansas City stole the headlines by being the best Home Run Derby crowd ever.  This could change how people view the derby and how the derby is played.  NY, East Coast, and Merica have a new respect for Kansas City.

-People better not give Cano a standing ovation tonight for the All Star Game.  It would be funny because the ESPN/National media would not know what the hell to think but the guy shows no remorse for re-negging on picking a KC Royal-Billy Butler and does not deserve a standing ovation.

-Give Billy Butler a standing ovation and pray to god that he gets a hit!  Maybe if were lucky a double or HR!

  1. Diet Pepsi says:

Karl Ravech is kind of cunty, I used to like him, but he was a pure twerp last night. Him taking that bait was amazing. Didn’t think he’d respond, but that was golden. Then the losers that came out of the woodwork saying that we defend child molesters.

My hatred for ESPN grew last night, which I didn’t think was possible.

Yes, Coach was probably furious at the boo’s and our twitter last night.

  2. ooooo the travesty!

ESPN is worthless. I really don’t even watch any of their programming except big events (mainly football) and stuff like the ASG. I have the shit DVR’d at home so I’m going to have to go listen to them cry about poor Robbie Cano.

  3. I hate this whole “stay classy” bit. We all say Anchorman when it came out 8 years ago, and that line was funny for a minute or two, but it’s run it’s course. It’s the most overused line in sports – particularly, baseball.

It was great being out there in that environment. I don’t know what the National guys said but I’m sure they were licking the Yankees ass. Do not let up tomorrow night booing Cano – KC will never forget!

  5. Holy shit. Serious twitter meltdown about this cano thing. National media is so pathetically all over cano’s nuts and critical of kc. I have never seen more excitement from a crowd at an allstar event. Fuck ESPN. They obviously don’t understand the midwest fan. Had a similar situation happened if the asg where in new york or philly, they’d be praising the passion of the fans. Makes me sick.

Makes me sick too…I couldn’t stop giggling the whole time watching it. The hypocrisy is amazing!

To bad Coach still isn’t on the KCMothership, I bet he was the first one crying for Cano and would probably be telling us were horrible fans with no class! Sorry we party and like to have fun with events.

  6. Nice work getting Ravech to bite via twitter. Didn’t have audio for the derby, what did he say to draw the ire of the twittership?
