A NEW ERA IN LAWRENCE

If early season ticket sales are any indication, I am not the only one that is pumped up about the new regime is Lawrence…

KU fans are excited to have Charlie Weis and some of his immediate impact players like Dayne Crist coming in to make us forget about the terrible two year expirement with what’s his name. I am beginning to think that was just another attempt by Nebraska to keep a brother down. I just looked at the upcoming schedule for KU and it is not going to be an easy ride. But who knows, if Charlie can get the most out of these kids I see 5 or 6 winable games on the schedule.

Weis has already had success recruiting for this upcoming season and he didn’t even join the program until Feb/March. Apparently he sleeps in his office, since his family has not yet moved to Lawrence, and spends every waking moment concentrating on improving the previous situation. I think the entire defensive line will be made up of players that were not Jayhawks a season ago. I can’t wait to see what happens. ROCK OUT WITH YOUR HAWK OUT!

Its about time one of the KU writers posted something about football!!!

Itd be nice to see Larrytown care about football again so I hope Weis can get Jayhawks back to being bowl eligible again and not losing games by 60+ points. Weis has already made some fat strides with the team especially at QB its just too bad Snyder is standing in the way. Those 2 coaches can renew the KU/Kstate football rivalry…FATDICK vs. OLDFART

I am interested to see what Charlie can do. Getting Crist was definitely huge for KU. I think the really challenge is going to be Charlie’s ability to stay on his feet for 3 hours on gameday. Better keep that scooter running just in case.
