What an amazing final round to the Master’s golf tournament yesterday!
Of course the ratings were probably down because the Tebow Tiger fans not real golf fans dropped out since he crapped the bed on Saturday and didn’t make a comeback.
Well it was great we didn’t have to watch Tiger’s bald head win the Masters again, but were able to see a beautiful Southern Sweep like Bubba Watson’s win the Masters on extra holes against Louis Oosthuizen yesterday. America should be proud a man like Bubba stepped up to the challenge and kept the Masters green jacket in the 50 states.
Honorable mentions of guys who helped make a great Master tournaments…Louis Oosthuizen, Phil Mickelson, Matt Kuchar, Lee Westwood, and Peter Hanson.
It feels like the field is finally stacked once again with great players from America and all over the world. Don’t know about you, but I’m geeked up for some more golf and am already counting the days to the U.S. Open!
3-1 in playoffs now. Bubba becoming a real force.
I’ve heard of the Southern Swoop…not the Sweep. Maybe I’m just bias.
Crazy finish. That double eagle to start the day was insane! The way it tracked to the hole, that thing probably rolled 80 yards on the green alone.
Bubba was crazy good out of the woods. That shot on the hole where he won it was one for the ages.
The dude sports some crazy style with the pink driver, shirt buttoned all the way to the top and mop on top.
Phil did it again – two triple bogeys cost him the tournament. I’m suprised Rory and Tiger crapped the bed both finishing at T40.
I loved seeing Bubba win this tournament. He wears his heart on his sleeve and hits crazy shots every time he plays. He’s freakishly long as well with the Pink Driver. Only a few years ago Bubba had anger problems on the course and was struggling on the Nationwide Tour.
US Open is going to be played on an extremely hard golf course this year – Olympic Club. I don’t expect the winning score to be under par!
