I know, it’s early in the season and so we are back to MU fans talking about how great they are at something, but give it time, we will soon be back to talking about KC Sportiing United or whatever the fuck they are called.
SportingKC will play to stay alive in the MLS playoffs tonight at Livestrong Stadium against Houston Dynamo. Sporting must pound a couple big knockers and not allow Houston to score tonight to keep their MLS championship hopes going.
SportingKC lossed its first playoff game against Houston yesterday. Not only did they lose, but they lost by 2 points making it that much harder to comeback and win on Wednesday. KC is fucking jinxed like no other when it comes to sports. The SportingKC team of this year and last year remind me of the 90s Chiefs teams. They dominate the regular season and shit the bed in the playoffs.
I don’t know about you but I hit rock bottom with the Chiefs against the Bucs and the loss to the Raiders was just a cherry on top. So this loss to the Chargers last night really is nothing, but another token for the KC talking heads to play their “Bitch about Clark/Pioli/Romeo/Cassel pinball machine”…
SportingKC last night clinched its second straight MLS East Title! Thank you Sporting for not making Kansas City a total loser town! Can you fell that Merica?!?!

KC is not only playing host to the new ultra fast internet called Google Fiber, but KC is now the headquarters for Sporting Innovations. “Sporting Innovations is a new tech firm that is developing smartphone applications to enhance sports fans” Lets hope both tech ventures kick ass in the future but knowing KC well go and screw it up!
If you haven’t heard Cal’s call after Eddie Johnson blasted the final PK over the bar to cement Sporting KC as US Open Cup champs then you are missing out. This is the oldest and most important soccer tournament in North America started in 1914 and gives an automatic berth to the CONCACAF Champions League which is the highest profile league an MLS team could achieve in North America. Congratulations to Sporting KC for bringing the Lamar Hunt trophy back to Kansas City! Hopefully the Chiefs can do the same later this year by winning the AFC Championship!
I was without power at my home from 7:15 pm to 4:30 am so I missed the entire game but from all accounts it was a dandy that had to be decided by PK’s.

Sporting KC lost 2-1 to Houston, Royals lost again to the horrible Seattle Mariners BUT the Royals did sign Jason Kendall! And today is going to be 98/100 and that’s a break in the weather… cant wait for the 108 next week
