Chiefs Fans Love Chinstrap Beards

KU-Chiefs fans shit their pants yesterday when their worst nightmare came true. Chiefs signed their backup QB, Chase Daniel. Chase Daniel is the Mizzou QB who beat the piss out of the #1 Jayhawks in the country at Camerohead for the Armageddon game. KU-Chiefs fans will hate having to route for Chase if he ever gets into a Chiefs game.

The Chiefs also yesterday signed DE DeVito and TE Fasano. The Chiefs have a speedy WR Donnie Avery coming to KC today. If they sign Avery that will leave holes in the LB and CB positions. Pretty much all other holes have been filled for this Chiefs team. The best part about all their signings is its dudes in their mid-late 20s, productive players in their positions, and they are mid range priced players. On paper this seems to be a good philosophy that could help the Chiefs right away next year and the next few years.

KC College Loserville

Well, all three of the KC area major college basketball programs screwed the pooch this weekend. KU blew it against Baylor, not making them the out right Big 12 champs and maybe costing them a #1 spot in the Big Dance. Mizzou shit the bed on the road again against Tennessee after leading majority of the game and blowing it at the end. Mizzou went from an SEC top dog to the middle of the pack. Kstate had the hardest game out of the colleges, but couldn’t pull it off against Oklahoma State. Kstate got lucky and enjoyed watching KU lose so they are the Big 12 basketball and football champs in the same year. After these losses hopefully all the three colleges will rally in the Big 12 and SEC tournaments. How far each team will go in the conference tournaments is anyone’s guess???

He boarded a plane for Fayettville just a few days after he told the media and the Mizzou faithful that he wanted to be a Tiger for the rest of his career. He flirted with leaving before, first for Georgia, then for Oregon. He received raises both times he threatened Mizzou with leaving. He played the system and got paid.

Mizzou basketball took care of business last night at home against #5 in nation and #1 in the SEC Florida Gators. Mizzou Arena was rocking and the Tigers still haven’t lost at home this year. The SEC is starting to learn what basketball means to this area of the country. SEC may not respect Mizzou in football, but are learning real fast not to fuck with Mizzou in basketball.

High school football recruits signed their lives, I mean their names to contracts today.  The reports coming in for KC area colleges say KU got the best recruiting class, followed by Kstate, and Mizzou rounding out the bottom.  The biggest headline from this 2013 recruiting class is how the top dogs of the Big XII have fallen hard.  Early predictions have Texas and Oklahoma in the upper teens and lower twenty rankings.  Texas A&M seems to have leaped frog Texas with its new SEC power.  Even Ole Miss has used its SEC power to get itself in a top 5 ranking.  If this is all true then Big XII’s football is falling off the map when it compares itself to the SEC.  SEC is only getting more powerful and the Big XII is getting more pathetic when it comes to football…

KU is smelling their farts heavily today after hearing they are #2 in the AP rankings and #1 in the coaches poll. Mizzou came in at #18 and poor little brother KState kitties came in behind the Tigers at #19. KState’s higher ranking over Mizzou was short lived, but I’m sure it was a celebration while it lasted.

King Kong Ain’t Got Shit On Haith

The chickens have come home to roost for Frank Haith and the Mizzou Tigers basketball program. A story has broken that Haith will receive sanctions from the NCAA for the scandal that took place down at the University of Miami. It seems to be a bunch off foofoo charges that can’t be 100% proven. Does Mizzou cut bait now with Haith or at the end of the season so Mizzou basketball program can move forward? If Mizzou doesn’t fire Haith at either one of those times and sticks by Haith’s side then they are running the risk that the NCAA will come down hard on Haith in October. Mizzou’s basketball program would be screwed for next year and maybe years to come if they wait for that ruling. What should Mizzou do???

KSU Wins, KU wins, and Mizzou gets their dicks rung. Who will win the KU and KState basketball game this week? KU got killed in football so they’ll want revenge KU wins. Mizzou plays Frank Martin’s South Carolina team. He usually has Mizzou’s number but not this year. Mizou rebounds and wins.

Mizzou has a chance to bitch slap Alabama’s (the college football national champions) basketball team tonight in Columbia, Missouri for their first SEC conference basketball game ever. Alabama took Mizzou to the woodshed in football this SEC season so this a chance for Mizzou to beat Alabama’s dicks off in basketball (Notre Dame fans will appreciate it too). I know the SEC minus Kentucky doesn’t care about football. So go ahead and use that as an excuse Bama, but that ain’t the way Mizzou rolls. Mizzou takes pride in bball and foozeball. So Mizzou fans will get great enjoyment in making yall Bama swampasslickers suck Tiger basketball shoelaces tonight in Mizzou Arena!

Mizzou’s #7 men’s basketball team plays tonight against UCLA at 9pm on ESPN2. Mizzou is coming off a big win against Illinois so they can not sleep walk into this game even if UCLA is down right now. UCLA has talent, but has a suckass coach that can’t get the team to play well together. Mizzou needs to get up early and crush any hope UCLA has of winning this game. That shouldn’t be a problem as long as Mizzou’s big men are dominating the boards, Flip is dishing the rock, and Bowers, Brown, and Oriakhi are dropping it like its hot. Mizzou is starting to get rhythm so lets hope they can keep it rolling tonight so they remain #1 in the SEC!
