FSU has made the big dance the last 4 years with a Sweet 16 and that is in the ACC. KState, OkieSt, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Baylor, TCU, Iowa State, and maybe WVU all haven’t made the tournament in the last 4 years…Yeah I’d say they are bringing street cred to this sorry ass conference if FSU has been to more big dances as of late then 80% of the teams in the Big 12.

What sort of dominance do these programs bring? Obviously the SEC is the dominant football conference, but when you consider national title contenders every year what makes the Big 12 any worse than second – Big East? Pac 12? ACC? I know that Fisher is turning FSU around but unless he brings back Charlie Ward and the Foot Locker Gang I won’t get too excited.
Big 12 is only 10 teams rite now and if you take away Texas and Oklahoma the big 12 doesn’t exist. They are number 2 in football and basketball. Adding another college such as Florida St will give them street cred for football and basketball. The tv market and recruits they’ll pick up solidify them as a dominant number 2 instead of being a potential bitch to big 10 and PAC 12…don’t you want to try to build a dominant conference that can compete against the SEC?

Mizzou has played was #2 in Big 12 basketball last year (are you retarded), won the Big 12 tournament, won the Big 12 North at least twice in the last 5 years one of those by beating KU in Armageddon making them 2 in the Big 12. MU plays for first and second place all the time actually in both sports wish you could say the same for Jayhawks. Oh thats right KU fans just want to win at least 2 games in football ever year.
