Worst of the Worst

baby-crying

So who or what do you think is the biggest disappointment of the Chiefs season so far? Here are the top 10 surprise disappointments for me:

1) Chiefs Secondary= Berry and Lewis are not the same as 11′…….Dear Carr, we miss you.
2) Coaching = turnovers are on the coaches
3) Jon Baldwin= So much hype in mini-camp, but he still doesnt know the plays

Can’t Wait!

It’s that time of year again. We get to stop listening to sports talk over analyze the pre-season and finally see what type of team we have. We get to watch our starters play a full game at home against a play-off caliber team.

Manning Could’ve Gotten More Bang For His Buck in KC

Peyton Manning scored his new digs in Shmenver.  Too bad he could have got twice the house in KC for that price.  Who cares anyways it will be on the market in a year after Tamba and Houston rip Peyton’s boogers out and make him eat em!

The New Nigerian Nightmare…..except he’s a white dude.

So he may not be the next Okoye, but he is the closest resembling RB to Okoye that the Chiefs have had since the hall of famer retired…

Chiefs Should Sign Hillis

I love T-Jones for his locker-room leadership and off-field work ethic.  His model is what we needed the last couple years to show our young team what it takes to play in the pro’s, but it’s time for the Chiefs to move on.

DGB couldn’t come at a better time

DGB

Pinkels finally got the Tigers in a position to recruit the best. He’s turning his players into first round draft picks and that’s his #1 selling point. DGB just want’s to play in the NFL….So why not follow in the footsteps of Maclin and play a couple years of college ball in his back yard, close to family and friends. Comon DGB……WE NEED YOU!

Lindley Franklin Elliott Jr.

The game-losing special teams play in both championship games last weekend made me think of Ol’ Lin Elliot.  Only difference is last weekend there were 3 costly special teams mistakes in both of the games combined…….Lindley had 3 in 1 game back in 95′.

Bleacher Report list’s Elliott’s missed kick’s as the #2 worst in NFL history….OH BOY!

If Defense wins Championships! Chiefs win 2013 Super Bowl.

Superbowl_IV_ring

A simple and overstated theory that “Defense wins Championships” has been overshadowed in recent years with the hype of the QB position….I predict the theory proves it’s-self true this year and the footprint will be carved for the Chiefs in 2012.

At of all 12 playoff teams this year (San Fran, Baltimore, Atlanta, NO, NY, Cincinnati, Denver, Houston, Pitt, Detroit, Green Bay, New England) who do Chiefs most resemble?????

Who do we draft #1?

The Chiefs #1 need is a quality QB.  I would love to see Luck or RG3 rockin a red and yellow jersey next year but it just aint happenin unless the Chiefs trade up…..which aint happenin either.  So the question that Ploi needs to answer to is: ”Do the Chiefs already have a quality QB in either Cassel or Orton????”    I think they do.  And if Orton would agree to stay in KC for one more year and compete for the starting job with Cassel, then I really think we are going to see a quality QB emerge.  So lets assume that Crennel is the coach (we know he loves Orton) and Cassel and Orton are both on the roster next season….then who do the Chiefs draft?

Next biggest need is OT.  Richardson should not be playing in the NFL and I think Albert would excel at RT.   Our interior line is old and small…..Wiegman is going to retire and Lilja is probably close to being done (he’s 31 and his small size means that his body has taken a beating).  The good thing is that we do have young talent at OL that should be ready to fill the void at center and guard.  If not, we will need to get aggressive in free agency at the interior positions.  So we need a “READY TO GO” left tackle and there are several that we can snatch.

ESPN shows the Chiefs drafting either 11 or 12 based on a coin toss with the Seahawks.  The top 3 best OT’s are:  1)Matt Kalil: USC   2)Jonathan Martin: Standford    3)Riley Reiff: Iowa

http://walterfootball.com/draft2012OT.php

I think any of these 3 guys would work, however Kalil will be a top 5 pick and depending on what site you research Martin and Reiff are about equal.  I personally would love to see Chiefs take Jonathan Martin from Standford.  He is a strong run blocker and played for a pro-style team.  Helps that he is a smart guy too.

Anyone think we should draft a position other than OT in the first round????
