2012 US Open Preview
The US Open is almost upon us at Olympic Club in San Francisco. This golf course is expected to be set up very difficult with the toughest holes 1-6. Players who shoot par over the first 6 holes will pick up 4-5 strokes on the field over the course of the week. As with any US Open (last year being the exception with McIlroy shooting 16 under) old man par will likely be good enough to win come Sunday.

Only 5 1/2 games out of First?
Don’t look now Royals fans but your Royals are only 5.5 games out of first place after a horrendous start to the year. This is a blessing in that no one is running away with the Division early. Detroit is off to a slow start and most people still have them as the favorites to win the Central. However, besides Verlander Detroit’s starting pitching is as bad as ours.
I’m as pissed as anybody with our piss poor start but I’m encouraged by our last winning road trip. Hell we are over .500 on the road KC!! I’m putting one foot back on the bandwagon!!!
Do you still think this team can win the Central?
Fire Yost Immediately
The Royals need to move swiftly and fire Ned Yost. This opening homestand is completely unacceptable starting 0-9. I don’t give a damn what the stat geeks say – someone has to take bullets for this disaster.

Still Early but Royals Struggling
This team really needed to get off to a fast start to contend at least until the All-Star break. Starting pitching the last two games has been piss poor and our bullpen is already exhausted after one week of baseball.
Big 12 Tournament to Stay in KC through 2016?
As the Big 12 Tournament kicks off tonight at the Sprint Center there is a rumor floating around that the Big 12 is going to announce it will stay in Kansas City through 2016.
