Aren’t we all so happy the Royal’s drafted Aaron Crowe in 2009 instead of this guy. In the defense of the Royals, 20 other teams passed on Trout until he was selected #25 overall out of Millville Senior High School (what other kind of High School’s are there by the way?) by the Angels.
After you read the article you will fall in love with this kids potential. He draws comparisons to some of the all-time greats such as Mickey Mantle, Ricky Henderson and Pete Rose. Really he is probably a combo of all those guys rolled into one.
Get to know this kid and if you haven’t seen him play I highly recommend visiting Kauffman Stadium the next time he comes to town (they actually play one more time this year in KC, a weekend series, September 14th-16th). Was amazing to watch in the All Star Game this year and Mike Trout won’t disappoint in regular game action either.
