If you paid attention to the action this week on our site, you would have noticed Diet Pepsi (DP) and yours truly (KCCM) each having nice posts regarding the state of the Royals. Good comments by our readers followed each article and a spirited back and forth ensued between the two resident Royals “experts” of TKCM. The difference in the articles was KCCM acting as the good cop while DP played bad cop. Let’s keep the discussion going……..

Good Cop, Bad Cop – Royals Style
Sanchez You Are NOT A Giant!

Jonthan Sanchez, I hope you don’t know it, but your twitter page says you are still a pitcher for the San Francisco Giants. It looks like your girlfriend Audris knows your with the Royals judging by the above picture so change your damn twitter Johnnyboy!
KU & MU NBA Draft Picks
Thomas Robinson and Tyshawn Taylor were the Kansas Jayhawks drafted to the NBA last night. Marcus Denmon (KC represent) and Kimmy English were the Missouri Tigers drafted last night. Congrats to all and hopefully your not the last KU/MU rivalry NBA players ever…(Sorry Kstaters, better luck next year)
Is Luke our Nuke?
Well Ol’ DP caught some flack yesterday for some perceived negativity regarding our Boys in Blue. It’s not often I’m called a negative Nancy regarding my Royals, but this has been a frustrating season. You can look at our division and say we are five games back and be excited. Sure, it’s the best position we’ve been in since 2003 – which when you think about it is amazingly depressing. Let’s look further…
Kansas City – Vote Now or Forever Hold your Peace
Get the word spread that tomorrow is the last day to vote online for the 2012 All Star Game. The Royals need all the help they can get if we are going to see more than one hometown player on the roster.
It’s really easy to vote and you can do so up to 25 times from as many e-mail addresses as you have. After you make your initial selections you just keep hitting in the confirmation code (similar to when you buy tickets online) another 24 times.
Here is the link. Look at the upper right hand corner of the page to get taken to the ballot. Send this to everyone you know and let’s make a last minute push for our boys!

Let’s Play Pretend
No, this isn’t the beginning to a Bill Maplewood post……..it’s about the Royal’s and the rest of their season.

Really Davis…..you look like an absolute fool!
Not only does Davis look like an idiot, he is now capitalizing on his horrible appearance.

What a joke. Your thoughts?
Frenchy vs Gordo

I’m trying to figure out why Frenchy is the butt of everyone’s jokes and why Frenchy needs to hit the road while Gordo gets a pass???
So It Begins, Chiefs Predictions Surface

John Clayton has made his predictions for the AFC West and he is not very high on the Chiefs. He must not believe Cassel has the goods to do well in this division.
A Major ‘Private Gift’ Will be Announced Tomorrow
Gabe DeArmond of powermizzou.com just tweeted a few moments ago that the University of Missouri athletics will receive a ‘major private gift.’ A press conference will be held tomorrow at 4 pm to announce the gift.
Also in Mizzou news, Mizzou AD Mike Alden will outline the Memorial Stadium renovations tomorrow before the Board of Curator’s meeting tomorrow. The renovation financing approval is on the docket for the BOC meeting.
Maybe that major gift is some nudie pics of January Jones from Jon Hamm. One can only hope…
STL: All Class
Get ready Kansas City. It’s everyone’s least favorite weekend of the season. The “I-70 Series” continues this weekend in Kansas City as the Cardinals come to town for a three game set. Get ready for some Jim Edmonds jerseys to try to overrun the Plaza this weekend. Get ready to hear the well rehearsed argument all weekend – “We’re sooooo much better off with Pujols. No, honestly, everyone in STL was HOPING he would leave. We’ve got David FREEEEEESE!!!”
