The recent Bobby Petrino scandal has thrust the state of Arkansas into the national spotlight and has given the rest of us an opportunity to let out a collective chortle at the Natural State’s expense. Long considered the apartment below the party, Arkansas has never been given much respect.

The Roy Boy’s still have a chance to salvage this home series if they can pull off back-to-back wins against the Red Sox. The Sox were struggling before they made the trip to Kauffman but for some reason “The K” is still a great place for struggling teams to get things right again.
University of Missouri Kansas City wants to change their name to University of Kansas City. It is long overdue and hopefully they get it done. Friends that attended the university always said that this was a problem in attracting more students and solidifying it as more then just a commuter college.
